Visually Disturbing Horizontal shmup?

Hey guys I'd like to ask the experts, I have played back in the 2008 a really odd one looking shmup.

It had a disturbing Graphics of mutated humans, the main character was a female oddly mutated and the levels was fleshy, gory and had bones as obstacles afaik.
Im really certain it was a Japanese developer, as the title and menus we're not in english.

It was a nice and fast horizontal shmup. If someone knows anything please reply. Thanks!

IIRC the same developer did at least one side-scrolling shooter along the same lines, but I couldn't tell you the name off the top of my head.

While we are on this topic are there any other violent horror themed shmups? In fact what are the most violent gory shmups out there? Beyond the blood in some of Cave's stuff I can't think of much. I wouldn't mind painting the walls red in a shooter if there were some good options.

I usually will play any STG regardless of visual style, so long as the gameplay itself is great.

However, Akira Goya games are where I draw the line. Too vomit-inducing for me.
