Namco's new arcade game, Sonic Storm/Mach Storm

Post by Furry Fox Jet Pilot »

So apparently, Namco is testing an arcade game called Sonic Storm, now renamed to Mach Storm. It is a modified version of Ace Combat Assault Horizon. http://arcadeheroes.com/2013/06/22/namc ... -in-japan/

It's basically the same stuff I've posted months ago. They've been doing tests and whatnots since the beginning of the year.

I wonder whether there's any other playable plane than the glorious CFA-44.

They also have a sequel to Razing Storm on the way. Not sure what hardware it's running on; hope it sees a PS3 or PS4 home port with Move support like the original did.

I've heard something about this. Where did this come from? Hope it's true.
Good question what hardware it's on... I think they may ditch System 357/359 and go with some sort of PC hardware to come closer to the PS4 spec. It'd be nice to see a remastered full 60 fps version of the first RS included with a PS4 port.

IMO, someone should release a pedal to use with the Move controller. At least there are gun shells for the Move, but using that button on top to control your shield is a bit wonky.

Dark Escape 4D will probably get saved for PS4. The 3D is probably a given. Of course the air blower from the arcade won't make it in, but there's got to be some way to include a pulse monitor.
Kinect? KIN NOT.
