I recently hooked my Wii up to my PVM using component, and wanted to see what it would look like in 240p using a few emulators (SNES9xGX for example). Problem is, I'm not sure if it's running in 240p or not.
In the video options, I have the option of "Automatic", 480i, 480p, PAL50 and PAL60. Does anyone have experience with this?
On the other hand, does anyone know if a PVM can show the resolution it's running at similar to most HDTVs? Like something in the menu?
Thanks!
Wii emulators in 240p?

Re: Wii emulators in 240p?
Original is the setting you are looking for. Even if you had a newer model PVM it would still say 480i because 240p isn't an actual standard.

Re: Wii emulators in 240p?
If it helps, on North American Wiis, your Wii output has to be set to 480i for it to output "240p" on the emulators that support it. If your Wii is set to 480p, it will "convert" all VC out to 480p.
