OK, so you have to have the slot widened to play Japanese games on a Genesis....so, does that mean that you can play U.S. games on a JP Mega Drive without chopping the slot up?
And yeah, I know you still would have to put the region switch in it.

If cartridge fits and you have a switch mod.... Any region game will work on the MD.
