Not sure if anyone will know this but...
Recently acquired a scph-5502 PAL ps1 at a thrift store, it was very minty, came with 2 dual shocks figured whatever 9 bux.
I get it home and it boots up, plays back ups, including stealth protected games, so bonus its modded.
But then I realize its a PAL machine with a 220v PSU???
How is this thing running? I checked the PSU and its got a 8 style power cable like in the UK so doesn't appear that anyone has swapped out PSU's.
Nothing on the unit indicates its dual voltage, anyone know if the PSU's shipped in UK/Euro PS1's were dual?

always worked this way. The other way around though (japanese/american model on 230V) would blow the power supply.

Games seem tp play perfect via RGB on my PVM, the game is playing at 60hz since its a NTSC game right?
