The Final Countdown...

Post by JBC »

Well... this has nothing to do with anyhting of any real relevance to this site but i wanted to post about it anyway because i'm so excited!

I'M FINALLY GOING HOOOOMMMMEEEE!!!

On January the 16th i'll board a plane or hop in a U-Haul (haven't figured this part out yet) and hit the road or the high skies all the way back to the good ole' Mississip!

I've been living here in Arizona with my wife for a little over three years... the longest i've ever been away from home and i've just about had enough! Big city life is definetly not for me... i hate to admit it, but i'm a little country boy and we're just not supposed to leave our little hometowns...

So i've got 7 weeks and 6 days left to go and a good bit of money already saved up... anyone here know anything about moving? Would i be better off driving my stuff 2000 miles in a U-Haul or having it shipped?

Excellent. Hopefully you won't need your gun in your home town.

Heh. I was born in the city, probably going to die in the city. That's just me though. Besides, who knows what'll happen if I get out into the country?

Congrats on finally heading home. Have fun there.

Mississippi? Isn't that where the black guys are really lazy and the white guys are really lazy but they're mad at the black guys for being so lazy?

I guess there is no one to blame, CF.

Will things ever be the same again?

Maybe they've seen you and welcome you all.

It's the final countdown. :(

So I take it there's more opportunity in your hometown? By more opportunity I mean better jobs. Otherwise you could end up back at being a gas station clerk in your hometown or you could end up digging ditches.

You still don't have any kids so why not take a few vocational classes at the local community college?

Honestly i don't care what i end up doing as long as i'm happy. Money has never really been much of an issue with me... and really i'm counting on my art to get me somewhere when i wanna go but if not then oh well... that kinda' thing, you know?

And i probably won't be a gas station attendant there anyway. I'm going to be working at my best friend's dad's trainyard...

I could work at WalMart for all i care and though - i'll be home!!!

Damn...I read the name of the thread and was so hoping the end of the world was nearly at hand.

*sighs*

Hey circuitface, have you heard the Children of Bodom cover of this song? For some reason it immediately popped in my head when I read the thread title - quite awesome.

Oh and Acid... love the FG reference
