I'm working in a tiny independent video game studio and I'd like to show you the game we've been working on for the past 6 months :
Isbarah
It's a mix between platformer and danmaku games, in which you fight many boss, one by one. Each boss behaves like in a danmaku, and your caracter can move like in a platformer. The link between those two gameplays is obtained by using the 3 powers of the caracter :
- Time control : a slow motion momentarily helps you be more accurate
- Environment control : you can build temporary platforms to protect yourself or climb higher
- Dash : an omnidirectional movement to escape from crazy situations
The game contains several chapters within each you'll have to fight 3 boss. We will also try to make a level editor to create and share new crazy levels. The game itself is still in production and we still have a lot to do ! We hope it will be available at the beginning of 2014.
