i would strongly recommend getting your ps2 chipped cos you aint gonna find any cave shoot em ups in pal format, altho there is a healthy catalogue of pal shooters out and also up and coming

Well, today I found out that Double Shienryu was actually released in PAL land, as Steel Dragon EX. It includes the traditional Shienryu and a new, 3D one - only having played the first, I recommend it. Amazon.co.uk has cheap used copies :D
...and suddenly, a very freaky wormhole opened, and 4 3-foot tall market analysts fell out...

The only store I've ever seen Gradius V in was at Verkkokauppa.com at the Ruoholahti Shopping Center. Never seen it in Anttila or Dose or one of those places. I don't know if they have any copies left, though.

If you're looking for Psyvariar (you should), there's at least one company that always has multiple copies on huuto.net for a decent price.

Yeah get Psyvariar Complete awesome game especially for ten euros

XII stag also has a good port but sadly the game itself is rather uncool

Stay away from gunbird special evil ports!

Why? The ports are just fine, the compilation offers TATE and 60hz. The half-a-second "Loading" text before the bosses' speech is hardly anything to cry about.
