Hi all.. I saw some DVI-D to component cable for sale recently, but it had 2 extra cables, I assume these are H and V SYNC?
I assume this will not work on a Sony PVM.. ? Are there any simple cable based solutions available for DVI-D to component or RGB?

Re: PC to PVM
Would that not be DVI-A to Component - DVI-D is digital.

Ah, yes, It would be DVI-A, sorry!
So yeah, the cable had RGB and 2 syncs there was no labelling...

As the PVm only has one sync I was wondering if it would work or not...

It will not work, the H & V signals needs to be combined as one. You can use an Extron RGB Interface (like a Emotia) or a DIY circuit to do just that.
