I actually think Master of Weapon is a fine game, and I play it for scoreACSeraph wrote:That shit ass Master of Weapon game Trap15 sadistically made us play in his tournament.
It's got backgrounds and stuff, though!SuperDeadite wrote:Have to go with Divine Sealing. Just terrible.
I still think I'm the only person who actually likes it. Aside from maybe Macaw. Not much of a bandwagonDespatche wrote:trap has pretty much started a "like" bandwagon
That was complete bullshit. You'd have to have Professor X level telepathy to not want to beat the hell out of whoever made that game.Observer wrote:Excluding some awful doujin shooters, I think Protöthea takes the cake for me.
The Wii version is probably the worst thing I saw in ages (seriously, don't you ever dare to spend what they ask for it) and makes the PC one look like something 100 times better. In fact, I would still take the PC version over the Wii port despite things like this:

I mean, it's a constant that you'll get shot offscreen and you have to blindly aim to take those enemies down before they even freaking appear!!! WTF.
The inertia of the ship in this game makes most euroschmukmups look like heaven.
Oh, seconding Sol Divide.
Chip = ship, right? Although it is amusing to watch and listen to the game stumble along a bit at the title, I think this is what you meant. I didn't notice much slowdown; I was spending my time trying to evade the missile carpets.system11 wrote:Sauro. It's a sort of In The Hunt type effort, with forced scrolling which is fast, and a chip which is SUPER SLOW.
You aren't the only one that likes it either. Since I got the Taito Memories with it on there, I like it even more so now because I have a way to play on a console (the MD port is watered down, but just too expensive to chase down).trap15 wrote:I actually think Master of Weapon is a fine game, and I play it for scoreACSeraph wrote:That shit ass Master of Weapon game Trap15 sadistically made us play in his tournament.

I don't know, you can just hold down the shot button for ease, and you can get around the screen. That's a lot better than Sauro. Also, bagpipes. More shmups need bagpipes. HotD 2's bagpipes-like name entry music is the best thing ever.Udderdude wrote:BIG LEAGUES COMING THROUGH http://rydia.net/udder/!crap/shitShmup.swf

You don't play many shmups, do you?VHS-porn wrote:Early Touhou games, or Espgaluda.
