Hmm...as far as the "main" stages go, off the cuff I'd say he's in roughly one out of every four levels (someone correct me if I'm misremembering), and occasionally in one of the online challenges. That said, if memory serves he's nowhere to be seen in the "invaded" time trials or (obviously) the Origins levels. As far as my feelings on him go, as the XBox (and presumably PS3) versions are concerned he doesn't add a heckuva lot in most instances (basically just another button to push when prompted), but he's generally not enough of a distraction to put me off either. For a "feature" they had to retrofit to systems not designed for it he coulda turned out a lot worse.evil_ash_xero wrote:How much Murfy is in the game anyway? Like in terms of percentage?

Re: Rayman Legends
Does the PS3 version use the six axis for the rotation sections, or does it use L1 and R1 similar to how the LB and RB are used in the 360 version?

So does legends really have all of origins in it? In other words is there any reason to keep origins after you pick up legends?

Not all the stages are in there, but a majority of them are. I'd say Origins is still worth keeping, because the layouts have been changed around to a degree in the sequel, though I suppose that factor would depend on how much you like how the two titles play (i.e. is one enough to hold you, or do you want more on your plate).strider-nc wrote:So does legends really have all of origins in it? Really nice playing this with my youngest daughter on the Wii U. I like the graphics and mostly relaxing gameplay. The co-op on the Wii U is nicely done.

If anyone's been holding off on getting this Gamestop has dropped the price of the console versions to 40 bucks, and the Vita version to 30: not sure if it's a permanent adjustment or not, though.

Origins dropped like a stone too, apparently it didn't sell very well, at least at first...hopefully this one is doing a bit better, Ubi deserves some credit for sticking to the notion that the good ol' 2D platformer can still be worth a full-fledged physical release (if memory serves Origins was originally supposed to be download-only, and episodic too).

Re: Rayman Legends
More than physical releases, I think, 2D games need more funds (than they typically get nowadays). I'm sick of reading about games like A Shadow's Tale as if they were ten a penny, whereas the engineering involved and overall production values must have obviously taken more effort than rejuvenating Game Maker-powered freeware classics like Cave Story or Spelunky.
