Skykid, can I tempt you to tag along if I bring that BNC to RGB cable you've been craving?
Yes I need that! Not sure if I can make it today tho. :(

Will speak to George and see if we can't change our plans a little. Will let you know.

Wicked. I can do today! I've just had to play SDOJ on a livestream on Twitch while simultaneously talking about the games industry (for that PeaceGames/PeaceOneDay charity ting. Now that's done (in Holburn) I've got to bomb to the twatting Mac Store to buy a new laptop (on bloody iPhone 5 release weekend... grrrr) and then I'll head to Loading. See you there punks!

And, yes, I'm well up for weekly meets at Loading. This week coming is my last week at work, and then I'm freelance, so will have tonnes of time on my hands! Thus, I can do any day of the week in a week's time. My heart goes with Thursdays, of course!

This Tuesday is deadline day, so I've a lot of work on until then (thus my lack of forum activity over the last few days) so I'll only be able to make it a shirt while today, but I'll be there!

Aw.

I'm not going to bother today then, wanted to play some Darius Gaiden.

Next time more notice! 24hours at least guys. :(

If James was kind enough to bring than BNC cable and CHI turns up, please leave it with him.

Well the first of the new weekly meets was a bit last minute, so apologies to anyone who couldn't make it, and thanks to those who did! We still had a good turnout though, including a surprise visit from Smraedis' friend, who destroyed me at Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo.

In order to make things go more smoothly at this week's meet, I'm going to arrive early and try to snag one of the tables with an Xbox 360, and bring some region-free Cave games too. Most of us are available on Thursday, so that's when it'll be this week.

Weekly Casino Crew Meet #2 @ Loading Bar

Date: Thursday 26th September
Start Time: 6:30PM
Venue: Loading Bar, 53 Rupert Street, Soho (inside MADD)
Website: http://loadingonline.co.uk/
Nearest Tube Station: Piccadilly Circus

I can't make it again I have to go and walk up big hills with my friend but after this week I'll have a lecture on Thursday evenings so I'll usually be able to.

Sounds good, and congratulations on escaping the daily grind! Everyone will be glad to hear that this week's meet won't involve any waiting around for tables to be free, because due to demand Loading now let groups book in advance: I've reserved a large table for us all. Also, some of the arcade machines have been moved upstairs to make things less crowded.

Weekly Casino Crew Meet #3 @ Loading Bar

Date: Thursday 03rd October
Start Time: 6:30PM (Large table booked: plenty of places and no waiting!)
Venue: Loading Bar, 53 Rupert Street, Soho (inside MADD)

I'm up for this if I can find the finances to get there and if the wet weather today does not dampen everyone's mood to make attendance. If anything, the weather will make those of us take shelter inside, depending on how you are from the venue location.

Perfect, and thanks for the organising JDE! To make up for it I'll take the minutes of the meeting.

I'll also text CHI now, as I think he has more limited access to the forum these days.

Should I bring any 360 shmups? I might finally force Caladrius on you (if it's region free).

And if anybody wants me to bring board games, I have tonnes!

I'll be there tomorrow guys. Will, I'd really like to give Caladrius a shot if it's region free, please bring it.

James! That lead, if you could put it in your bag now, that would be awesome. ;)

See you guys tomorrow.

I'll bring it, and maybe my JPN 360 too. Today I actually got to what is technically a TLB on one credit for the first time. Fuck me, it;s tough! I'm actually going to Loading tonight via a meeting with the UK Microsoft games team, so I hope they don't think I've nicked it when I leave the building!

On the bringing things note, do we need to bring arcade sticks? And any other games I should bring? If anybody has the 360 version of the original Mushi, I'd love to try that! For a laugh I might bring Eschatos and Shooting Love 200X, just for some variety.

Cheers Mills - and you say DEL is back again?

I'll have them with you in time for our next AGM. On a more serious note, if you can't make weekdays, let us know when you up for Loading/HoG at weekends!

Last week was so wicked! As JDE said elsewhere - about the best since Casino still existed!

So, this Thursday... I can't bloody make. There's the Games Media Awards that night, and I've got an invite. As I've just gone freelance is just a great chance to get in the face of lots of editors and such.

Believe me, I'd really rather hang out at Loading Cafe with you guys again, so if anything changes (my invite is tentative) I'll be over at Loading like a flash. I can't believe that about the only thing I'm going to at the moment is on a Thursday!

Have fun without me, and next week, Caladrius!

Aww man, I haven't been able to rock up to any weekday meets since I got one of those pesky jobthings. But It's tempting to come down to london for hangouts and summa dat twin eagle! Joe's brother aint gonna revenge himself after all.
I've practiced about once..

Do they have a rom there or something? As Spadgy can't make it

I'll be there tomorrow. See if I can replicate my two (count em!) Strider 1cc's on their shitty fake Happ sticks.

But I want Caladrius tomorrow, is there anyone who can deliver such a thing? Also, will there be a Supergun involved?
