PS1 Original 288p RGB or GSM 448i/512i Component?
Not too much else to say: Should I use an original PS1 through RGB SCART in 240p/288p plus an external scaling device or PS2 (through the backward compatibility) through Component in GSM in 448i/512i?

It doesn't really matter if you use a PS1 or a PS2. Both will output genuine 240/288p in RGB (PS2: RGB and component) for further upscaling. Low-res titles aren't handled very well by GSM, so it's not really an option.

So... "448i and 512i" mean nothing?Fudoh wrote:It doesn't really matter if you use a PS1 or a PS2. Both will output genuine 240/288p in RGB (PS2: RGB and component) for further upscaling. Low-res titles aren't handled very well by GSM, so it's not really an option.
