Tons of visual content digitized straight from the movie, lots of nice 2D stuff and scaling to imitate walking forward/turning around fast/etc. as well. It's even got a catchy soundtrack. There's also a ton of very, very good sprite artwork done to seemlessly blend in with the digitized stuff.
MAME runs it, though last I checked I think only DOS MAME ran it? Either way, definitely check this out.
seconded, the game is absoluteley awesome, the feedback in the guns is crazy too, after 2 levels or so your arms are completeley numb from all the shakeing brilliant!
