Should I buy a saturn just for Blast wind and Prikura Daicky

ok..blast wind and prikura daisukkeawhatever is not emulated..i played prikura and it kicks ass..havent played blast wind but i heard rave reviews...this time, im getting me a nice japanese saturn..screw the model 2's and swaps..

Blast Wind's okay, but just that. Definitely playable, though.

Go ahead and buy that Saturn if the price is right. There's a quite nice library of titles to be had there.

Blast Wind is cool, with great music, but it certainly isn't a key game to buy a Sega Saturn for.

ALso, get:
Sega Rally
The "Dragoons"
Nights
Burning Rangers
etc,etc.
Also, get the Saturn version of DDP just to be cool like Herr Shatten and myself!!!

Nah. They're both mediocre, but there are plenty of reasons to own one besides. Sega Ages, the good shmups and fighters that are still exclusive/better on it. Sega Rally.

Guardian Heroes is still my most played Saturn game.

Legend of Oasis(Not quite as polished as Beyond Oasis but it's damn sweet)
Assault Suits Leynos 2(Damn hard and the ending sucks but it's a fun ride)

I dunno about Blast Wind, but Purikura Daisakusen is fun as hell.

So yeah, get a Saturn for that, plus the other hundreds of awesome games.

Saturn's one of the greatest consoles ever made. There are plenty of reasons to own one, especially if you enjoy shooters / 2D fighters (pretty sure you like shooters ). A good alternative's a domestic model 2, with a region mod, mod board, and official 4mb cart. Good luck.

Don't bother with blastwind, honestly its not that good, its not complete crap or anything but seriously you'll be dissapointed, just get hyper duel or dodonpachi instead.

If you get the saturn, you have to play silvergun, panzer dragoon saga and nights.

Don't get it just for those games, it's got lots of good stuff on it (if you import, heh heh). As for Blast Wind, it's not bad, but I don't think it's worth the price it tends to go for.

Yeah, the Saturn has lots of great games, its my fav console these days.

And Blast Wind is very cool IMO, but its too damn easy. I wouldny buy a console just because of it. I 1 cced it in just 2 days.

Definitely not worth it just to play Blast Wind, haven't played PD yet. Then again, no console is worth buying just for two games.

Blast Wind's good, bordering on greatness. Music's awesome, but it literally took months for it to click with me. Play it with the difficulty to the max.

Blast Wind is a great game. Its the perfect shmup to chill to and just make quick 1CC runs through all day, or you could up the difficulty if you wanted a challenge. I loves it.


Prikura Daisuken is also very damn good. It has transparencies (ZOMG!) and is very fun to play.

Saturn's are a worthy investment no matter what game your buying it for. Some of the funnest games in history on that system...

Yeah, I couldn't agree more. There are so many worth while games on Saturn. Saturn, and Dreamcast are definitely my most played systems. (had an Xbox, and sold it) Every serious gamer should own a Saturn. They're getting more, and more difficult to come by.
