Eschatos has some fantastic camera work, but pretty boring sprites. As a whole... Only played the PC version but I'm gonna say Raiden IV.
Make a missile snap a bone gristle.

Futari for me. It's probably no coincidence that it's the one that I've spent the most time with but the fact is that I've come to enjoy its rich but not overpowering colours more and more. Plus it has jellyfish.

If the question concerns looks artistic-wise, I like parts of Shiki III, Espgaluda 2, and Deathsmiles 2 quite a bit. Need to spend more time with Caladrius to have an opinion.

If we're just talking about sharp, tight graphics, iirc Raiden IV was pretty impressive when it came out. Not so sure how it compares to more recent shooters in this regard. I'd probably have to play them back-to-back.

I know Radiant Silvergun on 360 is laggier than the Saturn version, but if it doesn't look much worse, it's up there.
The rear gate is closed down
