PGM2 and TV compatibility

For those who are running PGM2 games through a supergun, What non CRT TV or monitor (brand and model #) are you using to play the PGM2 on? I tried to run pgm2 on a Samsung LED TV and it doesn't work. I was using a supergun with Neobitz encoder via component. I tried it with a CRT and it works fine. Does anyone have any recommendations on what HD TV or monitor to purchase when running PGM2 games? thanks.
