Light guns and Euro SCART
Will your average light gun work with RGB signal fed through Euro SCART?

absolutely. Used RGB with lightguns for more than a decade.
Only must: a CRT without digital linedoubling or framedoubling (= no 100Hz TVs)

That RCA connector I see branching off from some light guns' signal cables, do I have to plug it in my EURO-SCART lead's yellow cinch socket?

yes. And if your RGB cable doesn't have RCAs, you can get a Guncon adapter, available from both Sony and Namco.

Luckily most of my RGB leads have those extra RCAs (normally used to hook up the stereo amp).
