Hello everyone! I was thinking on holding a week long event inspired by this. Now apologies in advance that this post might be a mess of ideas.
The way the event would work out is like this:
The event would start sometime in the fall
It would be 7 days long with a new game every DAY
Due to only being one day for a game, it will be simple challenges. I don't intend to put full games into this.
For example, get the highest score in the first stage of DDP. Something that is short, easy, but requires some micro optimization.
I basically expect someone to get the result they want in about 1 - 3 hours of play
Because I want some non-MAME games in the week, I will only count the top 5 out of 7 scores for each player. This way if somoene doesn't have access to the game, they can still remain competitive. I only intend to put 2 non-MAME games.
Those are the main points right now. I want to see if there would be enough interest to run this. If there is, I'll update the OP so it doesn't look like shit. I think this would be a fun little event for the community! Please let me know what you think and if you have any ideas, post em here!
