Hello,
I have a Framemeister and I love it, but I need some help finding a few cables.
Keep in mind I live in the U.S. so I don't know if I need a Euro or Japanese cable.
PS2 SCART Cable - the one I currently have produces a greenish hue.
I have a SNES SCART cable that works perfectly so I assume it's the cable.
If I can't have that should I go for component or S-video.
If I need S-video I would appreciate a link for a compatible one for me in the U.S.
SCART cable for my Gamecube or whatever the best option is with a link.
SCART Switcher - best possible with no video or sound degradation (I can't find the Keene Commander).
If possible I'd like it to be automatic. Also, just to clarify how to use it, I would just connect
the lead SCART cable from the Framemeister to the SCART switcher and connect each SCART cable
to the switcher, right? I'm really paranoid about damaging anything.
I appreciate the help and apologize if this was in an old post, but I really need help.
Thanks!
Ben

Paranoid means you think people are watching you.
Please read http://junkerhq.net/xrgb/index.php/XRGB ... AMEMEISTER - The getting started section.
http://www.videogameperfection.com/av-g ... h-roundup/ - For some info on switching
PS2 - Make sure you have not set your console to component output in the dashboard.
SNES - Outputs RGB just fine.
Gamecube - Component is best but expensive

Re: XRGB-mini SCART cables help
Thanks for the reply. I realize what paranoid means, but I tend to use the word out of context, thanks.
I've read both the sites you've linked before, that doesn't really help me.
I want to know SPECIFIC cables for the systems I specified known to work with U.S./NTSC consoles.
I have RGB on my SNES. I'm starting to think I'll just stick with the component on the PS2.
The reason for the green hue is because of supposed copyrighting restrictions when playing DVDs:
http://uk.playstation.com/ps2/support/g ... n-your-TV/
Scroll to the RGB section to read and understand what I'm talking about.
What I didn't know is that component is best for the Gamecube so for that, thanks.
I can't afford one so will search for a good S-video cable with no yellow leads unless someone knows of one
WITH A LINK <--- that would work for me.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/S-Video-SVHS-Ca ... 2a30b6d91a
Is probably what I'll get though some say hit-japan sells good quality cables, the price is much higher.
Anyway, thanks for the reply.
As for getting around the PS2 copyright RGB green screen, I've read this may work:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001 ... F0P4DA4207

Re: XRGB-mini SCART cables help
All PS2 games work fine with any RGB cable. Only DVD playback disables the RGB output and activates component instead - hence the (extreme) green tint. The cable you linked to let's you switch between RGB and composite video, but composite video doesn't work through Scart anyway on the Framemeister. Also the Mini ignores the switching/blanking voltage, so it would take RGB from the cable anway. Unless you really want to watch DVDs on your PS2, all of this really doesn't concern you.
If you start cables from all over the world, incl. from Japan, make really sure to keep an eye on the pinouts. Only because you buy from a certain region doesn't mean it's not EURO Scart after all. Same for cables labeled as NTSC. This just means that the cable is made for the NTSC version of the console. Output will still be EURO Scart.

Thanks Fudoh!
Always a pleasure to get a response from you. Love your reviews btw.
I'll have to read your response over and over because it's given me a lot to think about.
I'll post a response once I understand everything clearer.
Thanks again
