Anyone played Disgaea D2?

I am sorta interested in it's release this fall, but I lost interest with part 3 and all of it's damn Geo Blocks.

With the original cast, and nice HD sprites, I'm thinking about checking it out.

Any importers have anything to say about it?

I know some of you guys import these Kanji heavy games.

Anyway, I'm thinking this or Disgaea 4. Any points of view on the latter? I was really let down by 3. I thought the characters were a poor imitation of the first's, and I hated all the geo blocks.
