Alawar shmups?

Anyone played any of these?

They all look pretty fun, and seem pretty cheap, especially when you buy in packs. Not all-time classics, but neat all the same.

I'm going to download the demos tonight and try them out.

and look at how much freeware there is worth playing out there. i suggest you have a look around shootthecore.com

edit: also, i am sorry, but their english is hilarious. read some of the game pages.

The "free" stuff is demo only (ie: first level demo). The games actually cost a few bucks. I doubt these are spyware-filled.

Retroblast reviewed a few a while back and said they were OK. I still haven't gotten around to grabbing the demos to check them out.
