Battleship with the most destructible parts?

Kind of a strange, difficult question but I felt compelled to ask. It seems like this could be a good baseline to determine different developers' attention to detail.

The one which serves as Rayforce's st2 midboss has a whole lot of individually-targetable parts, both turrets and armour panels as well as drone takeoff structures and its engines. Not sure if it's the most ever but it's worth a mention, it's a real scramble trying to take down every last bit of that thing before it times out.

There's actually a couple games I can think of with battleships for a stage (all stage 3 oddly enough) - Mushihimesama's got you destroying the parts of a giant bug for most of the stage, Solid State Survivor's stage 3 has its battleship take up most of the level, with it launching a mech at you as a midboss before you actually start destroying its bits. R-Type's Stage 3 also has you fighting a battleship for most of the stage.

Halley's Comet has actual comets act as enemy battleships too.

Omega Fighter probably wins 'biggest' though.

Bomber in Garegga stage 5.
Not only does it have a huge amount of turrets and hatches that you can destroy but you can also bomb every single part of it to add to the destruction.
Black Heart also spawns from its nose so there's that too.

Hellsinker Segment 3 LEAD has two battleships to fight through the stage, composted from a bunch of parts. Akashicverse has battleship stage too, starting with destroying main weapon and turrets outside and then going inside.

Does that ridiculously huge tank boss from Raiden Fighters 2 (Sand Lobster?) still count?

Or more generally, pretty much every Raiden Fighter series' mission bosses.

Then there's that stage 3 battleship thing in RefleX, can't remember the name though.

That stage is pretty cool, though getting the 1up is a bit of a pain in 1.5. For some reason it's harder than it is in the Matsuri mode than it was originally, especially when you're doing the crossover after you've destroyed one side (the bullets move more slowly and take longer to go offscreen I think is what made it harder).

The biggest battleship that I know of is in Final Mission, it takes well over 5 minutes to destroy the whole thing with no interruptions like other midbosses etc.

Stage 2 in BlaZeon
Stage 2 in X-Multiply
Stage 3 in R-Type Delta
Zone M in Darius Gaiden
Zone H in Darius Force

Sagittarius, that thing was massive. That game is probably the longest shmup I've ever played. I mean, just look at Stage 6, you have to fight 7 ships as the midboss fight!
