Panzer Dragoon Mini... how much should I pay?

Post by Super Laydock »

The title says it all. I have the opportunity of buying this game for a price which I think isn't too much over the top.
Without me mentioning the price what do consider reasonable.

It would be one of the last few titles I still have on my Game Gear "to get list". The game is mint and complete btw.

Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions. :)

Can you really put a price on disappointment?

The game is a nice collector's piece I guess, but it's pretty awful gameplaywise.

The last couple I've seen on ebay in that condition went at around the $200 mark (though I haven't looked in quite some time).
You're arguing for a universe with fewer waffles in it. I'm prepared to call that cowardice.

Thanks for the reply! :)

I've heard conflicting things about the game and it's gameplay. The reports range from: "awful" to "flawed but all in all pretty decent". I personally would rather judge by myself. If it would prove to "awful" to me as well, I could always get my money back I guess.

The price you mention is WAY higher than the price I can get it for too.

Well I never said that the ebay price was reasonable... for a game like that people often get into a bidding war.

Ebay is such a waste of time.

They pop up regularly on YJA for the equivalent of $50 and below and seem to be in plentiful supply.

I think my new/unopened copy ran me about $200. But I'm sure you can get lower quality ones for a much lower price. It isn't that great of game, well, its alright, but nothing spectacular.

I wasn't going to post since it would seem to trollish but when you put it that way...

Yeah, I agree. I recommend you emulate it first, laydock.

Ok, I've decide to let this opportunity pass. Maybe I should emulate it first.
And even though I could have gotten it for $60, if I didn't like it I'd have to go through trouble selling it and all. I have too much stuff I should sell anyway as my room has zero to none room left for new things atm.

Thanks for the replies, they actually did help me decide this. :)
