RQ: Strikers 1945 Saturn

Hi All,
after watching STG Weekly I started playing Strikers 1945 on my Sega Saturn.
IT's a fantastic game but I'm sucking at it (level 4 on Normal).
My goal is to 1CC this game. I'm not going for points I just want to clock this thing.
Anyway I just wanted to know what is the best plane to select?

Alternatively, the BF-109 has rapid aimed shots from options, and a very powerful charge shot where your options "drill" from a fixed position.

The Shinden's bomb will one-hit-kill most boss forms if used at point blank, but it's a mediocre plane otherwise.
