Hey guys,
I'm new here. I've been trying to remember the name of a game I played in a Japanese arcade at the beginning of 2011. It was a versus bullet hell. Basically picture street fighter style one-on-one but each player was a ship with bullet hell style attacks.
I hope that's enough to go off of. If not I can try to think of more.
Thanks.

Hey Jonst,
I think that is it. It looks like the one I played is either Senko no Ronde Rev.X. or Senko No Ronde DUO.
I've been trying to figure this out all morning. So thanks for helping me out!

If you're interested, both games were ported to the 360 in Japan - the first one was also localized in the US and Europe under the name "WarTech", but the latter is import-only.

Nice! I saw WarTech on Amazon. It's only like $15 so I ordered it.

I payed £1 for my copy a year ago off Amazon.uk, cheapest game I've ever bought
the OP might also like these VS hybrids.
Twinkle Star Sprites
Change Air Blade.
acceleration of suguri x-edition (PC/ PS3)
Virtual On OT XBLA (1200msp), mimic the original twinstick controller method, with analog stick buttons to fire, triggers / shoulder buttons to dash (can be played through system link if you can find a buddy with a 360 to play with)
