Damn, still having the problem of none of my joysticks being recognized.

I can get by using Joy2Key, but it's still odd.

360 pad works ok. There's nothing that indicated that a gamepad is being identified though. More generic controller support would be awesome in a future patch. I'd love to keep using my USB Saturn pad :)
Hmmm yeah you're right. I just tried my normal 360 pad and it worked fine. No luck with any of my 360 sticks though.

Wow my game just crashed right when I got to TLB :S

Also, would it be possible to always show your high score at the top of the screen? That counter seems to reset to 000,000,000 etc. once you exit the game..

EDIT: I'm too afraid to play another serious credit because of that TLB crash

really? I actually ran into that crash during testing and fixed it..let me quickly look into it again. Sorry about that!

I'm having a bit of trouble with my game not saving my progress. Not sure what the problem is. :(

EDIT: Fixed it. Darn folder was in Read-Only.

Great game so far. Haven't quite made it to the final boss yet but I'm really liking the visuals, the music, the pacing, and the patterns. It all seems like such a perfect blend that compliments each other. I haven't quite got my grip on what I should be doing for score yet.

I've found the issue. Turns out the "fixed" true boss file was in the wrong place in the data package. I'm submitting a new build (1.1.4) that should fix the issue. Sorry about that everyone!

It really does get intense later in the game. And awesome metal soundtrack. few gripes:
- Can we get to choose between analogue or dpad controls?
- if your holding down shot, you dont really realize when you continue!

I can probably put those in a later patch :) In the mean time version 1.1.4 is now live (Humble Bundle works fast!).

Played a couple credits. Seems really fun. Unfortunately, I can't get my stick working on it. It doesn't recognize the POV-Hat inputs or my buttons. Adding support for POV-hat and generic buttons would be super nice.

Cool release, and good luck on getting it through greenlight.

The first-stage demo rocketed it to must-buy. Later stages do not disappoint.

Unfortunately with picture scale capped at 2x, the portrait mode can only grow to 960 of my monitor's 1080. Maybe a Fit-to-Screen option? I could get it with 640x480 resolution and scale 1x, but this game's graphics don't take it as well as they would if designed for lower res.

Edit, actually in 1280x720 it fits AND looks fine. I suppose consider this a nice-to-fix, to save a second of resolution changing on startup.

Just noticed today on my humble bundle that the game was released. Had a short play of it just now. The game itself is fun. I especially like the game's visual style. But as some other people have mentioned, the interface and menus still seem rather unfinished.

- The initial settings menu (eg. resolution) doesn't save the settings I chose.
- Sometimes, I get that green/red gradient square instead of the initial doragon/blankfield screens.
- No real gamepad support in the interface. For example, setting Pause to the Start button on my 360 pad shows it as the letter A, rather than letting me choose say button 8. This also means that changing the gamepad controls will also change the keyboard controls. This makes it seem like gamepad support was tacked on later rather than being a desired feature from the start.
- The initial loading screen shows z/x/c as the controls, even though those are not the buttons I have them set to.
- Continue menu picks an option straight away (either yes or no) if you're holding the fire button as you die.

I'm having a problem with scores being saved into the High Scores menu. Not sure what's up. :?

Would high-scores thread be possible? (at high scores section of course)

How exactly would the high scores thread work? Would we allow the RPG progression or have an agreed set amount of points to spend?

Also congrats on clearing Classic Extreme, Cagar. You must tell me your secret for Stage 5 because it's usually smooth sailing up until that point. Then I just seem to die repeatedly because there's just too much going on for me to handle. Haha, I've seen plenty of laser wheels in other doujin STGs but I never would have thought of doing enemy-ship wheels!

I'd say we should of course allow RPG progression, you get to max rank within few runs anyways, and I feel like the points you get at max rank is supposed to be the "default".
But yeah, the secret is to... dodge stuff and shoot stuff

Agree on a set amounts of points to spend.

I propose
RULES:
Focus - 0
Track - 0
Wide - 0
RDS - 2
Lives - 2
Continue - 1 (cant go lesser)
400 points extra to spend on anything else

That means with the extra 400 points:
[offensive play]
- you can choose a shot type between focus, track and wide
[defensive play]
- get max rds (rds = 4, lives = 2) or get max lives(rds = 2, lives = 4) [8hits]
- balance rds and lives (rds = 3, lives = 3) [9hits]

Well I proposed that because of the games generally low difficulty. I dont mind all out too. But it does need a hiscore thread.

As much as I like the idea of nasty_wolverine's 400 points to spend - enough to spend on a single shot upgrade of your choice or enough to buff ADS/lives, I personally think we shouldn't restrict the points. During the time of my other post, I actually didn't even know you could max out your rank at Ace until I suddenly just hit the rank earlier this morning. I originally thought you could play the game a lot to earn enough points to cap every upgrade.

All right, I'll set up a high score thread for the game soon. I'll also include a section for iOS scores.

its not cave/raizing difficult, but then again its not the difficulty that makes a game, its the perfect blend of everything, which this game has.

So yeah i'm having problems with scores not saving too...
After I close the game, the scores just won't be there again when I start the game again.
:(

Would love to always see high-score at top..

High score saving works for me.

Do you have the game installed in program files? Try running the game as administrator.

Edit: Watched a bit of your stream. The stage 5 boss has several familiar patterns from other games, which I only mention cause I didnt really notice that much on the other bosses. (only gotten as far as the stage part of stage 5 myself).

What are the TLB requirements? Just 1cc? Can it appear on easy and normal? I've been mostly playing on Hard anyway but just curious.
