Dear God, this game is frustrating Those indestructible, stalker blocks will ruin your game pretty quickly. Seems like you need a big deal of luck to finish this.
Died with the lv3 door in sight once. Never got that far again.

I thought you had good pattern-decoding skillz man! Anyway, what levels are we talking about? I have seen some indestructible blocks and you need to start planning for them a bit early, feinting so they remain one step behind you. There is one simple puzzle soon after meeting the indestructible blocks where the playfield is a small rectangle only a few spaces tall, and your first moves will be toward one side or the other so that you can safely move past those blocks. I haven't seen them too many other times but the same general strategy applies.

I've had this game since iOS release (best 69p spent) and roguelike mode is definitely where it is at. I've had the final door in sight, but got sandwiched by a load of fourway stalkers.
Sometimes it is better to take a non-numbered exit if it is safer, as long as you can regen health quickly enough.
Ah, thought you guys were talking about the default puzzle mode (the first option). Rougelike being what's in the maze mode makes sense, I'll go check it out now. Same strategies as puzzle mode should apply, start at the beginning to learn the basics :3
Edit: I see the problem. Less maneuvering space, very easy to get into unwinnable situations based on blocks moving outside your field of view. I thought that perhaps the exploding plungers could take care of those blocks, but I haven't even gotten to check if it could happen. I did have an indestructible block follow me through a few numbered doors into the door marked "4," the end still seems a ways off.
Not so fussed on the Roguelike bit (nor Roguelikes in general), but the puzzles are excellent. Gets very tricky after level 23, I'm on 40 at the moment and it's nicely frustrating.
The trick is to avoid rooms with those indestructible stalkers. If you blow up a door and spot them in the room, turn around and search for another exit right away. Staying away from them is far better than entering every numbered room and trying to manage them somehow.
