Last night I was playing Gunstar Heroes at a friends house 2P. His little brother who is 9 likes the game a lot too. After playing through stage 1, he handed it over to his kid brother and we went to the dice palace (the little punk kept throwing me aside and stealing my turn) and we got to Melon Bread which of course, any 9 year old or adult would think is at least a funny sounding name.
So I made a deal with the kid. I told him that if he went to school the next day and bugged the lunch ladies asking them "Hello, do you have any melon bread?" I would give him a Kirby figurine kit I got at E3 three years ago which I never put together. Now I need to see if he followed through.

LOL!!!!!!!!!!

There is a boss in the Gunstar Heroes. His name is melon bread (the face with the sharp teeth and goofy eyes 'n nose). I'm sending a 9 year old kid to ask for "melon bread" when he goes to get bread in the lunch line at his school. Which will confuse/irritate his lunchlady. What else is there to explain?landshark wrote:ok, now someone please explain it to me.
haha Or have him ask for "curry and rice."LoneSage wrote:Should've made him pull off the Love Love Dancing Attack, too.

Ha Glad to hear you like it since some of the more "colorful" folks in TNL were about ready to burn me at the stake for posting this because it wasn't entertaining enough for 'em.SheSaidDutch wrote:This post made my day

Anyways, I still need to IM his brother and ask if he did it otherwise he gets no Kirby figure.

I know what you're talking about. My friend I used to play Gunstar Heroes with would always do that also. Had some epic battles for that dice.Dylan1CC wrote:(the little punk kept throwing me aside and stealing my turn)
By far the most deadly attack in any videogame.LoneSage wrote: the Love Love Dancing Attack
