Well, someone has to do it.

Afaik Spielberg/Stone/Tarantino/Verhoeven or any other somewhat decent director hasn't volunteered yet.

If the movie turns out shit (likely) we can all bash Anderson again and at least we "know" who's to blaim for it.

No director worth a damn would do an adaptation of Castlevania in the first place because the source material is shitty for a movie.

A Castlevania movie would be more of a comedy than a horror/slasher, especially if they keep the silly localisation style of the Symphony of the Night.

"Die, monster! You do not belong in this world!"

"Don't." It's "You DON'T belong in this world." If you're gonna bash it, at least get the quote right!

It would be almost as fun as covering Henry Winkler in bees.

The idea of Verhoven doing Castlevania is just wrong--in so many ways I can't really say. Especially since he'd never do it unless he could put some surreal political twist on it.

Verhoeven should film DoA.

But, seriously? Who do you want? Lars von Trier?

YES! HAHAHA!

He'd say something like: "Instead of making the movie myself, I thought that I would get a random man who doesn't know what Castlevania is to make a movie based on what he thought the word Castlevania meant. It's about the process, really."

Death by fire-pissing shark would be entertaining to watch. 8)

Isn't one thread enough to b itch in?

"What's a man. A miserable little pile of secrets!"
"Sooo, what was it that you consider a 'good salary' for a man to make?"
"They should at least make 100K to have a good life"
