Thunder Force V saturn two versions?

Looking at amazon theres just thunder force v and one listed as special pack. Whats the difference?

- special pack has uglier cover
- special pack comes with a cd with arranged versions of TF soundtracks

There's also a couple of minor cosmetic differences. The disc has a "special pack" label and there's a small label saying "special" on the rear of the manual.

Which is awesome and totally worth the extra cash.

Sweet alright, also general consensus is that saturn version is vastly superior. Is that the one to get?

The PS1 port (Perfect System) has some major graphical downgrades, the most notable being the removal of the partially visible second layer of the city in Human Road, which was a very cool effect.

And if you're playing the Working Designs-localized US version, Vic Ireland completely messed with the scoring system for some reason, so you can't compare scores with JPN version players.

Yes, Saturn is the way to go.

The PlayStation version is good if you're picky about framerates. The Saturn one has so much going on it chops up occasionally during gameplay.
