Under Defeat Xbox 360 - EU version - region free?

Heya,

I live in Japan, and I want a copy of the Marvelous game, seeing as my Dreamcast copy is stuck back in England.

However, the Japanese version is insanely expensive, whilst the EU version is really cheap.

In fact, I could buy a new copy of UD EU ver and have it shipped here for half the price of a second hand Japanese copy.

That being said, I don't know if the EU version is region free. I've emailed Rising Star themselves, but they didn't reply.

Also, the same question for Akai Kitana EU version?

Therefore, is anyone here able to confirm?

PLay-Asia is suggesting that Akai katana EU edition is only playable on US and PAL boxes and that's my recollection of the situation as well since it had a localised region-locked JP release. I think you'll find that the EU under defeat won't play on a JP box also because it had a region locked-JP release. Someone who owns them will no doubt confirm. I only own the JP region releases of both.

Ah, well, looks like I'll have to get some other shmup for my 360 instead.
