Best GBA Star Wars game??....

Post by dave4shmups »

Or are there any good ones? Trilogy looks like it's the best to me; Flight of the Falcon looks pretty good as well. The controls are supposed to be rough, but I play PS1 Rebel Assault II, and like it.

Stinks that none of them look as good as any of the SNES Star Wars games! :(

I made the mistake of buying Flight of the Falcon, it was overall awful, despite the novelty of having an unlockable Star Wars mini-shmup game. Nowhere near the quality of the SNES games.

From what I heard, the Star Wars Episode III beat 'em up and Lego Star Wars sound like the best ones, though I have some doubts about Episode III. I want to get Lego Star Wars. I heard that it's very good and the levels are exclusive to GBA rather than taken right from the console versions.

Lego Star Wars is a great game. It´s got an amazing amount of unlockable characters and secrets galore.
Also, it has the perfect Star Wars atmosphere.

Way better than the SNES Star Wars games IMO.

Asking what is the best Star Wars GBA game is like asking what fast food place you want to get married at.

None.

I've only played the Return of the Jedi SNES game, I honestly don't think that one's too hot either.

 *shrugs* I just wanted to know. At any rate, has anyone played GBA Star Wars Trilogy: Apprentice of the Force? That one looks pretty decent.

And thanks for the info on GBA Lego Star Wars; didn't know that it had extra's that the console ports don't. Reminds me of Activision Anthology; I'm pretty sure that there are more Activision 2600 games on the GBA port then the PS2 port.

I heard Apprentice of the Force is only decent, nothing spectacular.
