Re: ebay (and other) auctions with insane prices
Story aside, the bit at the end is amazing :I just read the sob story and now I feel bad.
Anyway, roflelol@ the listing. I didn't look through the items, but yeah, it's just as I suspected from the main image, just a bunch of random loose carts.
I don't want to try to count up all the games but they are asking huge amounts per game here, obviously.
For Questions regarding the price, it is not a mistake and i will not accept any lesser bidding amounts. If there is anyone watching this collection who can easily make the necessary repairs to the equipment and wants to take this seriously the bid price has been set. Also Sonic 3 has not been listed but is also included in the collection. Also there is not only a working master system adaptor, but an actual master system that needs repaired as well. Thank you.

I got my reply back from her this morning:
15 million dollars it is then. She may be slightly out of touch with the gaming valuation scene.no fee unless it is sold. I think it is 10%. and paypal takes 2.5% of sold price. And it is listed as I wanted. 2 similar collections were sold within the past year for 1.5 and 7.5 million.-biblelady

Wow, it's not even a good collection, let alone one large enough to be worth anywhere near $15M.
Final Fantasy 7 is rare?
I see Shaq Fu is in there ... clearly a discerning collector.
At least shipping is included

Welp, I put mine up. Three watchers within three minutes. Already jumped up 28 dollars. This is absurd.

How much do you want to bet those boxes are just filled with bricks too?
There's no way to tell if there's actually any KI carts in there....
Re: ebay (and other) auctions with insane prices
After much research, I'm pretty sure the existential horror of never actually knowing what's inside the box is the attraction itself.
Schrodinger's cart is a) a twinkie b) a brick c) a cart ???

When you can find Radiant Silvergun sealed for less than Klonoa, you know something's wrong.

I'd guess it's due to overzealous furries buying up and hoarding all the copies. Things can get crazy whenever furries or bronies are involved. Thankfully the game is on PSN now.null1024 wrote:When you can find Radiant Silvergun sealed for less than Klonoa, you know something's wrong.

Re: ebay (and other) auctions with insane prices
Kind of surprised MrMark went in for that game grading nonsense...I'm sure it keeps in that old-game-prototype freshness and multiplied the final price.
