very stupid one but noticed it in full force yesterday whilst installing some PSP stuff on PSV....

Once a game gets a rerelease as a "best of..." edition (in this case the JPN version of Peace Walker that i fancy replaying) the original icon turns to the shitty yellow BEST! rerelease one :/

I'm not particularly bothered by a digital move to "best version" (though i'm sure there maybe some games that get changes in that respect), it's just that the icons look like garbage.

MicroSD cards. They're too damn small. It doesn't help that I end up shuffling one between various converters [mSD -> Memory Stick, mSD -> USB, and mSD -> SD] to get stuff on/off/around and I feel like I will drop it and never see it again.

Actually, most media that's smaller than a GBA cart bothers me a bit. Or maybe smaller than a Compact Flash card.

I dunno. Maybe I'm just oldfashioned...

Nah I'm with you on that one. microSD should really only be used in the most niche applications, but when cellphones have a good claim towards needing them, well, there goes the neighborhood.

I, as of yet, have only one device which is using a microSD card. I'd like to keep it that way.

Someone previously mentioned how H.P. Lovecraft overshadowed Edgar Allen Poe. Personally, I think a bigger issue is how people think authors like Lovecraft are unique when really they're writing the kind of stuff that has been a backbone of oriental mythology for as long as it existed (don't get me wrong... I used to like Lovecraft).

I'm like that with a lot of eighties television shows and cartoons. He-Man and the Masters of the Universe is also surprisingly deep for a kids show, but all anyone on the internet thinks is "OMG toy commercial!"

I hate the animation fandom, because most of it acts like Animaniacs and Batman:TAS were the first good cartoons ever (personally, I hate Animaniacs and BTAS is okay at best), and then they tend to have an elitist new = better philosophy (imagine if gamers thought like that... oh wait, most do...)

Two floaters in my right eye are driving me crazy. Had retinal photography done, got second opinions, apparently nothing unusual.

+not noticeable when gaming, watching movies, etc.
