Metroid Prime Pinball?
Anybody playing this? I've heard a few people comparing this DS game to the legendary Devil Crash, and it features the original soundtrack from Metroid Prime. Any thoughts from pinball fans, is it worth a purchase? Sounds like it could be a winner if the layouts are challenging/fun for scoring.

Hey TF!
Yeah, I played it over at Game Crazy, and IMO, it puts ever other video game pinball experience to shame. The game has awesome visuals, excellent control, Samus get's to stand up and do some shooting at certain points in the game. Definately worth picking up.

I played a couple of games at Best Buy earlier today. Didn't spend a lot of time with it, but I liked what I played of it. I'd probably have picked up a copy if I had a DS.
I did somehow manage to have Samus get to shoot stuff for a while though. Fun stuff.

Unfortunately, it seems like DS games don't drop in price as fast as, say, PS2 games. I mean, Super Mario DS is still $29 new-shouldn't it be more like $19.99?professor ganson wrote:I played it for not even 1 minute at Target (while watching my 2 year old), and it was quite nice. For me it didn't have the instant appeal of Devil's Crush or Alien Crush, but I might have been scared a bit by the $40 price tag. I will definitely get it when I can get it for less.

I've had MPP for a day now and I just now beat it. Fun game, not as good as Necronomicon, but then again, what is?
But yeah, definitely a kickass game regardless. I can't wait to see more games utilize the rumble feature. My friend Cory and I were playing the multiplayer for a solid hour or two last night, while I wish there were more multiplayer boards, it was still loads of fun.
I'd give it roughly a 9.
