Name that game
Name that game
I went to an arcade that had a game similar to metal slug, run and gun horizontal, it started off on an island and then went into the water, then 2nd stage was underwater. What game is this?

BROTIP: When you see the name of the company you should mention it in your Name That Game thread.
Also, searching "Sammy arcade" as well as "Sammy co game" both give you good hints in the right direction.

Re: Name that game
All I could remember was Sam, thats why nothing came up, but the user who helped trigger my memory and then I searched it, your bro tip on the other hand, useless.Ed Oscuro wrote:BROTIP: When you see the name of the company you should mention it in your Name That Game thread.

Re: Name that game
Also useless - bumping the thread two days after the fact to correct an assumption I made based on you writing "Sammy" and not "Sam."

Re: Name that game
Also useless- continuing to bump the thread to say ^ that and making me bump it even more

Did I put a gun to your head and tell you to make a fool of yourself? Have some dignity.
It's a shame my thoughts weren't helpful in this case, but I can't take the blame for that; I can't read your mind, just what you write. You know, looking at my original post, and your response, I can't say that it was condescending or rude, so you're way off base to pick a fight here. I could understand you maybe thinking it was condescending in some way, but if you understand my reasons for mentioning it, it shouldn't look that way. And I'm still trying to be helpful, whereas your tone only reinforces the perception that you feel privileged and refuse to do basic homework, instead of dispelling any erroneous notion I might have had.

Re: Name that game
your assumptions about me are wrong, I'm not going to respond anymore.

Re: Name that game
Does that include my assumption that you're trying to shift blame for not doing a good job correcting misconceptions, based on the assumption that I was trying to be mean-spirited with my original response?

Are you guys seriously having this argument?

Re: Name that game
I keep thinking, wrongly I suppose, that someday people will understand there's a difference between being a bore (I'll admit to that), and then just randomly slinging feces because it feels good, and that maybe I can make somebody out there see the light, at least once. It's a bit like the person who thinks they can change the habits of their spouse of 40 years...it just ain't gonna happen. But just maybe the shame of hypocrisy will make somebody think a little on their way.
To answer your question, no, I don't see there's much of an argument. I've been trying to make an argument, but I don't see anything from the other viewpoint that I can really respect.
