Scaler vga to hdmi query

Post by Speedkingfox »

Hey guys.

I have my arcade forge scaler/sync strike/slg connected to my video projector and want to connect to my 50inch plasma too. I have a vga splitter cable with one end connected to my projector and 1 end loose. Is it possible to get a straight vga to hdmi cable and plug direct into the hdmi on my tv or will i require a converter of some sort?
Thanks for any help given

In general VGA to HDMI is rather easy to accomplish, especially since the GBS does output rather standard timings. For every day use I use a Lenkeng VGA to HDMI box, but I guess that any $35-40 Monoprice box will do the job. If you want audio through HDMI, you might want to pick a box with an analogue audio input.
