You should have a "it's too early to tell" option.

yeah it's not letting me vote, i guess it's broken but i would say that it's to early to tell, but from the things i've seen about the next gen it think i'm going to buy a cave kit with my $500 bucks
Diane... it's 7:30 a.m. over at the shmup forums, the locals seem to be nice and friendly, i've stopped over at the off topic forum and they have nice conversation and a damn good coffee, and the trading station is worth a stop.

oops sorry. I think my edit might have messed it up. Maybe a mod can fix it. I'd be interested to know if there is going to be much goodwill toward microsoft for being the leading stg system last gen even with all the drm on the xbone.

Polls have been broken for years; no idea why the admins don't fix it.

I'll spend the next few years catching up on all the stuff I missed this gen, and rebuying the DC shooters I miss. Then if the things are down to a reasonable price level, if the two firms stars next gen the way they're finishing this one it'll be PS4 all the way. Still waiting for Ninty to give me an excuse to pick up a Wii U... HD F - Zero and I'm sold.

Are you talking about the Ouya? They should totally get the Kool-Aid man to sell that one.

Switching over to handhelds (3DS, Vita) is apparently not an option. I'll probably eventually get around to... everything. Xbone is last on the priority list though.

Poll is missing WiiU and 3DS.

PSX Vita: Slightly more popular than Color TV-Game system. Almost as successful as the Wii U.

i only got a ps3 and wiiu in 2012, so i don't really see much of a need for myself to "upgrade" for the next 5-6 years.

Why no emulation option?

Mame has enough shooters and sexy mahjong games to keep me occupied for the rest of my sad life.

Same as always. Whatever has the games I want. However if a console has server-reliant DRM, I'll be waiting until it's hacked or else never buying one. I don't do rentals.
