I've been using the hd box pro and slg3000 with my genesis all day. It works perfectly. When I use it with my Snes however, I get this really nasty jumpy picture. Some video here.

Both consoles are connected to a scart switch. Then a scart to yuv (component) converter. That goes into the component in of the hd box pro and the VGA out of that goes into the slg3000 then into the plasma tv.
The snes looks great when I plug in the scart to component straight into the tv. I also tried composite and that works fine too.
Would anyone know what's going on here?

I blew my HD Box Pro up
so can't check, but can you remind me what options you have under geometry on the menu? This is a very similar issue that you can get on the GBS board (very similar to the HD BOX PRO) and if you press the AUTO button to auto configure, it will sort it out. It's having a problem with latching onto sync.

Hi thanks for the help! I'm not sure what you mean by geometry options. This is all i have for options on the hd box pro.

Heres this, the resolution its currently running under:

All these pics are showing my Sega Genesis which runs perfectly under the same settings. I'm also wondering if its the scart cable i have for the snes. I have two and both have the same problem. (One from retro-access.com and one from play-asia.com. Here are some pics for anyone that might recognize any weirdness with how its setup.

There's two SNES scart cables from retro accessories:
Super Nintendo stereo RGB SCART lead FULLY SHIELDED+GROUNDED cable cord US SNES
Super Nintendo stereo RGB SCART lead OUTPUTS RAW SYNC cable cord US model SNES
Which one did you get?
