While waiting for stuff like Mario Kart, AC, Tokobot and Popolocrois to be relased, I have taken a break from both my DS and PSP for awhile and have started playing my Turbo Express at work again (portable Bonk, Air Zonk, R-TYPE, Gradius, Twinbee, Parodius and Kyukyouku Tiger = bliss).
One item I am finally curious enough to buy is the TE TV tuner. Anyone here own it and if so how much can i expect to pay and what's the quality, reception, ect? I might like to have this for when my co-workers insist on watching Mind of Mencia.
Any TE TV tuner owners here?

I've got a TurboExpress with the optional TurboVision TV Turner Adapter. It works just fine although you rotate a dial to change the TV stations. On some local stations, the picture is crystal clear. Expect to pay about $70-$80 for a used one. You can even use a stereo pair of RCA phonojacks to headphone adapter as a simple A/V input jack for other A/V input sources as well!
I've even hooked up my Supergun & played some arcade shmup PCBs on the TurboExpress via the above listed headphone adapter setup. Very cool option!
Radio Shack even sells a mini LCD TV antenna adapter with 1/4" headphone adapter output (for hooking up your full-sized TV antenna to a mini LCD-type TV monitor)...I bought one of those as well.
It is even possible to hook up a camcorder or even a home game console to a TE equipped with an optional TurboVision TV Adapter and a headphone adapter setup.

More new info on TurboVision TV Turner Adapter abilities...
My original post on the NEC TurboExpress TurboVision TV Turner Adapter has more new info as to being able to hook up cool A/V devices such a RGB-to-NTSC output Supergun, etc. Check it out!

Sorry, I missed your replies. Thanks for all the great info, X!

I already knew you could use it as a console display but I never thought of using it to display PCBs. Matt made me a supergun-TV adaptor which I have used on my RCA television before, so whenever I get a TE tuner I will have to try it out.I've even hooked up my Supergun & played some arcade shmup PCBs on the TurboExpress via the above listed headphone adapter setup.
