How's the gameplay of Codemasters' Grid 2 sequel?

Saw the vids of the 360 version of Grid 2 & noticed that it debuted stateside on 5/28/13.

How's the gameplay/game mechanics of it? Considering that Codemasters released it on the 360, PS3 & PC platforms, surely it's a competent racing game?

Also saw that Forza Motorsports 5 will be able at Xbox One's launch. Will it be as good as GT6 on the PS4? Such high-caliber racing titles to choose from in the upcoming months.
