Just got back from the Seattle show and it was great! All around good arrangements, quite a bit of filmic stuff, which I wasn't too anxious to hear, but still good. Then they did some classic stuff like Zelda, Castlevania, retro arcade medley, Sonic etc. I got to meet Becky Young, the publicity director, before the show. It was only a brief few words (hey, I'm Tom, I post at the VGL board), but it was still cool. And she was hot.
When they got to the last song, and asked "what do you all want to hear", everyone else yelled "HALO!" while I yelled "GRADIUS 3!" Someone else requested Earthworm Jim. It was awesome. Of course, they went ahead and played Halo. Damn them.
One other thing, before the show I saw someone wearing pixelcorps' Ikaruga T-Shirt! I stopped him and we talked for a few. I don't think he was a member of the board, though he said he had browsed here before.
So anyway, good experience. It's a real shame that he tour bombed out, but when/if they get it going again I recommend it to any VGM fans out there.
