Well... not exactly...
I own three cabs and I've been busy buying boards, many from some of you here. But it was never just for me...
I miss arcades and the crowds and meeting friends for good games...
So last December as a laugh I decided to hold a Shmupmeet... just to see who would come. It was such a success that I've been running monthly meets ever since and it's been a absolute FUCKING blast...
I created a group on Facebook called Texas Shmup Fans as kind of a way to keep my friends up to date with my game acquisitions and events and it kinda took off. So now I've begun posting Shmupmeet pics and videos along with a full pcb stocklist on a page on called, well, Chop's Arcade. It's not much now, but check it out and hope to maybe see some of you Texans pop up here for a meet once in a blue moon.

I'm trying to bring people back under the Curtain, guys... made the genre a few new fans, they're suddenly all over shmupmame when I announce a meet's games to practice. Even had a 1cc IN COMPETITION, granted, it was Blazing Lasers but... not bad!
