PCB video capture problem !!!

Post by ben.shinobi »

Hi,

I turn to video specialist because I have a small problem which I can not find the solution.
I want to make a video capture of a pcb (raiden fighters) but my image is completely shifted (see photo):

I tried several capture software but nothing works, I think the problem come from my capture card pci. I tried all possible formats (NTSC: m, j, pal: b, d, g, h, i and all secams ...) but nothing work correctly. I get centered video in pal format but in black/white... The solution would be to try 60hz PAL but I don't have this format on my capture pcb.

I also tried with my sony dvd recorder but now it's worse because it does not recognize the whole picture in NTSC (He recognizes black and white pal). The game runs in 54Hz, the problem may come from there?

Yes it's likely the odd refresh rate. You might get a slightly better result running it through a JROK sync cleaner. Maybe.
