Yep, I've decided it: I'll preorder it. Even if I have to sell some things second hand I'll do it.

You can be sure that the 360 and its online services will live on for years to come after its successor releases, potentially into the 360's 10-year anniversary in 2015. The only reasons this didn't happen with the original Xbox were because it hadn't been out for nearly as long, wasn't as popular, and only a small percentage of users were connected to Live.Phellan Wolf wrote:So Asada and Ikeda hear it. LE doesn't have anything I can't live without, I just like having LEs because I'm dumb.

Gotta keep the riff-raff out, only superior nipponese 360s should be able to play these glorious games. If you aren't hardcore enough to own one, you don't deserve SDOJ.

I've had the same thoughts actually. It'd be nice if we could completely confirm somehow.Giest118 wrote:Good: Ordered the game the very instant I saw the region-free announcement.
Bad: I'm still worried that the tweet has been misinterpreted. Google Translate says something about "players overseas", so I assume it says "overseas people will get to play it." But the thing is, this statement is not the same as "the game has no region-locking." It might allude to some future localization. And with that tweet being the only god damn fucking confirmation of region-freeness at all, I have no idea whether or not I'm wasting $70.

NESiCA only. If you don't live in Japan, GTFO.A petition to stay arcade only sounds like a better way to keep the riff raff out and the hardcore in, wouldn't you say?
Why haven't then done an english message for the people abroad?Keres wrote:海外の本体 = "overseas consoles"Giest118 wrote:Good: Ordered the game the very instant I saw the region-free announcement.

It says, more or less, "it will be possible to play Xbox 360 SDOJ on overseas consoles." I guess it could MAYBE refer to a localized release if you really want it to, but I'd bet anything that it specifically means region free. The wording would be too strange to be anything but, IMO.
