So there is no vs playing this time? It was nice when you knew you are not going to place 1st or even 5th but you can still have fun trying to beat your weekly opponent. I know it did not work because last year half of the people registered did not play, but maybe this time there would be less idlers so it could work.

Yes. All the games I'm picking are in MAME. Actually, they're all either MAME or PCB. There are no (valid) ports for my selections.

Also, is recording the replay on camera good enough?

For MAME, you can record an input, then render that out to an AVI with MAME itself. Then you want to re-encode it (so that it's not like 10GB) and upload it to somewhere like Youtube or whatever.

For PCB, all I ask for is a picture of the score with the date visible somewhere. A recording would be super awesome though

I came to the conclusion that having PvP doesn't work too well when there's a pretty decent chance of people not playing. So now you can have fun trying to beat a fixed score that should be just above what a mid-tier player can do

If that's the case i sincerely hope you've got Batrider in there since it's an awesome game and the board is pretty much barren atm.

Batrider would be a cool choice though. Not sure my poor A-ver would rank up alongside B-version PCBs though

One game is going to be revealed right now, because important things must happen with it.

Game will be Armed Police Batrider. However, it will require a non-Japanese region version B, and will require non-standard DIPs. If you need EPROMs burnt, please PM me and be prepared to give a little bit of money for me to buy EPROMs and mail them out. If you have a Japanese region version B, you won't need new EPROMs.

If you are playing in a game center, it would be a good idea to bring in your own board with the changed DIPs and ask the operator to put it in.

No comments on which week it will be.

If you are able to reset the machine and turn on the service mode DIP switch, any region works, it just takes a bit more effort.

I'm more concerned with the custom DIP switch settings than anything else, for you
