XBLA Way Of The Dogg

Post by system11 »

It was listed as a fighting game...

It's actually a rhythm game in hiphop style, where the fights are determined by your following the button presses on time. Not sure if the rating is so low because it was mis-categorised, or if people really don't like it - seems pretty fun to me.

So it's Hatsune Miku: Project Diva - Snoop Dogg Edition? I hope it lives up to Lil Jon's Crunk Golf.

Shouldn't it be "Way of the Lion" now?

Bust a Move was considered as a fighting game, so I don't think the game was mis-categorised.

I recall reading that the game reuses a lot of stuff by the end, and that some of the timing seems off...I haven't played it myself though, I'll have to give the demo a go just for how bizarre the concept is (then again Snoop seems to be popping up in all manner of odd gaming-related places of late).

There's a calibration setting which is buried in the options which really the game should make you do *before* you start playing. I have bought the full game, really enjoying it so far.

I only have the trial version of this. It reminds me a bit of Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan or Elite Beat Agents, but I think I enjoyed those games more.

Bust-A-Move (Bust-A-Groove) was a much better game series tho, specially the two games on PS1.

I still listen to the songs that I enjoy so much. <3

I looked it up, Snoop is now only using the Snoop Lion Rastafari persona as an alter-ego instead of his sole new identity. His new album "features" himself as both Lion and Dogg.

I guess name recognition is too profitable for a personality to piss away. Lame.

He doesn't like the Rastafarian diet either.
