Some people have short fuses...

Post by Specineff »

*Spec joins HDLoader forum*

*Spec downloads patch for NeoContra for PS2 from that forum*

*Spec notices patched game still doesn't work*

*Spec makes the following post in the HDLoader forum*:

"Hi guys. My first post here. I downloaded the patch for NeoContra, and the patched image doesn't seem to work. Maybe I did something wrong? I used this file and this and this program, and this and this mode. Can I ask for a bit of help or some tips on how to patch it? Thanks in advance"

*Spec's IP address gets banned from the forum*

Mind you, I use the HDAdvance Loader since my crappy PS2 suffers DRE's now and then. Not as often as before, but still, nothing beats MGS3 with 2-sec load times from the HDD.

Maybe they have an aversion to people who write in proper english and doesn't ask for roms or ISO files. Posted in the "HDD image help" section. Odd, huh?

Just had to get that off my chest. Thanks for listening.

The original Neo Contra ISO runs just fine on the latest/fully-patched HDLoader v7c. I'll leave it to you to find this.

Did you read their rules and/or searched for the answer first?

They may get lots of those questions and have compiled the answers already in some way.

Yeah, I read the rules. Supposing someone had asked that question before, it's stupid to expect a newcomer to dig around 1500 posts to see if the post existed, and ban him for asking the same question again, on the *FIRST* post. That's why I'm glad this forum exists. :)
