Well, i've got pretty much all the STG's i'm interested in (except for... SDOJ) so i'm set for life. 
Wouldn't hurt with a Ketsui 2 or new proper Bat-game though...

It'd be awfully hard to end any genre, including Shmups.
That being said, I'd have to think about how important it is to me that new games are being released. I know that when a game series on console stopped indefinitely it was a huge hit to me at first, but then I just went back and played the old ones again, and they found new life. It's remarkable how that happens.
